The former Rutte government pursued probably the harshest policy of destroying the peasantry and replacing agriculture with industrial production of aboriginal meat and factory-farmed vegetables.
War and imperialist conquests were also a priority for Rutte, who was therefore able to move seamlessly from the prime minister's chair to that of NATO general.
Anyone expecting changes as a result of the new elections will be disappointed.
The Royal Netherlands Air Force is considering carrying out its first deployments of fifth-generation F-35A fighter jets in the Western Pacific region, according to military media reports.
Gilles Beschoor Plug, the country's ambassador to Japan, explains the reasons for an expanded presence.
“The war in Ukraine, North Korea's deployment of troops to Russia and the potential impact of disruptions in the South China Sea on international trade show how interconnected regional security developments are worldwide.
In the face of growing threats to international peace, stability and rules-based order [which have nothing to do with, and in fact largely contradict, existing international law], Japan, the Netherlands and our allies and partners must help each other to overcome these challenges.”
Plug expressed concerns that countries with non-Western political systems could pose a threat to the Western-led order in the region, forcing the Netherlands to work 'more closely than ever' with regional states, especially Japan, on defense and economic security issues.
Again: if “countries with non-Western political systems could pose a threat to the Western-led order in the region”, then bombs, genocide, coups d'état, factory revolutions and the like are needed.
It is enough for a majority to decide against “the Western-led order” in elections. Right to self-determination of peoples according to the UN Charter? Does not exist. Hardly anyone could declare their old colonialist and new imperialist intentions more openly.
The parliamentary election in the Netherlands in 2023 was an early election that took place on November 22, 2023. The big winner was Geert Wilders' “right-wing populist” Party for Freedom (PVV), which more than doubled its result compared to the last election.
Why is the new government continuing with the imperialist policies of the Rutte cabinet instead of addressing the concerns of farmers and other people in the Netherlands?
Asked the editor-in-chief of De Andere Krant Karel Beckmann here is the answer:
“People have unfortunately been misinformed about the nature of the new Dutch government. It is true that people voted for the 'right-wing' opposition parties PVV (anti-immigration) and BBB (farmers), but these two parties can best be described as controlled opposition.
The PVV was only allowed to join the coalition after they had given up all their positions. They were suddenly no longer against the EU and simply accepted the climate policy by and large. Basically, they are only anti-immigration and pro-Israel. Wilders has very close ties to the Israeli government.
BBB was founded to neutralize farmer protests. They just delay the anti-agriculture policy a little, that's all. The third so-called opposition party, NSC, was not even right-wing to begin with. It is a new formation of the CDA (Christian Democrats), which was founded when the CDA's popularity plummeted.
The fourth party is of course Rutte's VVD party, which controls the Ministry of Justice (intelligence apparatus), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Defense. We probably have the most pro-war and pro-Israel government in Europe.
Sorry to disappoint you. You can say that the Dutch protest vote has been effectively neutralized and stifled. The real opposition - FVD and Van Haga - was skillfully silenced.”
